Location: A street in Verona

Characters: The Capulet boys, the Montague boys, Benvolio, Tybalt, capulet, lady capulet, the prince, Montague, Lady Montague, Romeo

Time: Sunday morning

Events: The prince gets in the way of a street fight between Benvolio, Tybalt and their men. He will kill anyone who fights on the streets. Montague tells Benvolio to go see why Romeo is sad. He loves a woman but she does not love him back, Benvolio thinks that it’s best he gives up with her.
